GDELS at Eurosatory 2026: Built for the Change – Delivering at Scale
Today, Eurosatory 2026 in Paris has opened its doors! Until June 19, General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) will showcase innovative solutions for a transforming battlefield – ready to be industrialized within short timespans for production and delivery at scale.
Our displays at two stands in hall 5A/B416 and outdoor/A170 focus on three major topics:
Manned-Unmanned-Teaming fusing our mobility expertise as vehicle OEM and systems integrator and the experience of Alpha Robotics, an established leader in unmanned solutions for firefighting and rescue missions. You are cordially invited to learn more about this partnership in a media event at our booth B416 on Wednesday, June 17, 11:00.
By integrating readily available sensors, effectors and C2 systems into proven mobile and protected platforms, GDELS can provide scalable and cost-efficient ground-based air defense solutions for SHORAD and Counter-UAS to shield mobile forces as they move. The open vehicle architecture of GDELS allows us to cover a broad range of threats and mission scenarios.
Moreover, Heavy Mission Carriers on wheels and tracks offer new possibilities for the integration of heavy and bulky payloads.
Discover Manned-Unmanned-Teaming (MUM-T) in hall 5A, booth B416: An integrated network bringing together our EAGLE 6x6 Vehicle Control Unit and a range of unmanned ground and aerial vehicles from Alpha Robotics:
- WOLF G1: Tracked UGV with a stabilized 7.62 mm weapon station Valhalla Loki, highly mobile on- and off-road and capable of shooting on the move,
- WOLF C1: Tracked UGV deploying a semi-stationary 7.62 mm weapon station and sensor suite, ideal for continuous surveillance and perimeter defense,
- HAWK: Fixed-wing surveillance drone,
- HUMMINGBIRD: Quadcopter for tethered or mobile operation.
An important mission for MUM-T is drone defense, as demonstrated at B416 by an 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle PIRANHA GBAD, equipped with Elbit’s new UT-30 Mk. 3 unmanned 30 mm turret, and interconnected with detached small-caliber effectors on the BULLFROG 8x8 wheeled UGV. With a flexible crew concept, the manned PIRANHA serves as UGV “mothership” and autonomous SHORAD platform at the same time – capable of detecting, tracking, and engaging small aerial targets on the move.
Another C-UAS solution is to be experienced at the GDELS outdoor stand A170: The PANDUR GBAD in a new layered air-defense configuration featuring a Valhalla Mangart 25 turret with autocannon/missile launcher, the Cilas HELMA-P high energy laser weapon for small targets at close ranges, and a multi-sensor suite. Thanks to GDELS’ NEVA electronic architecture, it can also be fully integrated into a MUM-T network of unmanned sensors and effectors.
Furthermore at our outdoor stand A170, we present two new vehicle variants for heavy mission payloads for the very first time: The PIRANHA HMC Advanced Recovery Vehicle combines the 10x10 PIRANHA Heavy Mission Carrier with FFG’s recovery module: a wheeled, highmobility, on- and off-road, fully protected and powerful asset for recovery and repair of damaged combat vehicles on the battlefield, equipped with two winches and a 32-tonne crane. The new PIRANHA ARV is currently by far the most powerful and high-performing military recovery vehicle available on the market.
Finally, the ASCOD HMC Skorpion the new, all-terrain counter-mobility solution on tracks. The modular ASCOD HMC platform lends its unsurpassed agility and survivability to DND’s high-rate, automated Skorpion² scatterable anti-tank system. Capable of deploying complex, programmable mine barriers and carrying up to 40 anti-tank mines, this latest ASCOD configuration brings back a critical capability for combat engineers: fast, scalable minelaying under full protection for the crew. C4ISR connectivity enables minefield planning, control, and traceability, and minimizes risk to friendly forces and civilians.
