ModularityModular Length
Each VIPER system consists of the launcher and a set of bridge modules which can be combined to form bridges of 5, 7 or 9 meters length. VIPER modules can be carried directly on the launching vehicle, a trailer or a separate support vehicle.
LauncherEase of Handling
The bridge modules are deployed with the customizable launcher. Its winch is driven either electrically, hydraulically, or manually. A team of four soldiers can launch or retrieve a 5-meter VIPER bridge within 5 minutes.
Load CapacityUsable up to MLC 50
Although the aluminum-made VIPER bridge only requires a 4-ton launching vehicle as counterweight, it can carry loads up to MLC 50 without regard to the bridge length.
