Vehicle Concept

Versatile

The ASCOD is a versatile tracked land platform for all current and future theaters of operations. Its modular architecture, build on a common base platform, ensures maximum adaptability and scalability.

One Platform, All Roles

In use with several NATO and partner nations, the ASCOD combines unmatched mobility and protection with an adaptable multi-role platform design.

Modularity
Common Base Platform

The ASCOD’s flexible and modular design makes it fit for any mission and environment. The robust common base platform design is scalable for gross vehicle weights of 30 to 45 tons. This guarantees affordability, growth potential and tactical mobility in any weight class.

Mobility
Superior Performance in Every Terrain

The ASCOD is designed to master complex terrains and challenging conditions to accomplish the most demanding combat missions.

Power packs of 530 to 800 kW, seven wheel stations for steel or rubber tracks, and the patented self-adjusting track-tensioner ensure operational success in even the harshest environments, from the arctic to the hottest deserts. . The ASCOD complies with STANAG 2832 requirements for road and rail transport and can be airlifted in A400M and C-17.

Survivability
Protected against Multiple Threats

Integrated protection includes highest levels of STANAG-certified armor and mine protection, explosion suppression, and CBRN filtration. Further, optional enhancements include TROPHY or other, customer-specified soft- and hard-kill active protection systems as well as counter-IED and counter-UAV systems.
