ANACONDA

The ANACONDA design is the result of decades of experience with vehicle-launched bridge systems. As wheeled or tracked tactical bridge layer, it covers a wide spectrum of gap-crossing operations.

Bridge Concept

BEAVER Evolved

The ANACONDA system is the evolution of the long-proven BEAVER bridge and fully interoperable.

Deployable Wherever Needed

The ANACONDA is designed for use as a wheeled high mobility bridge laying system or armored assault bridge.

Modularity
Enabling Mobility – on Wheels or Tracks

The ANACONDA bridge laying system can be realized as a highly mobile truck-based or fully-armored tracked solution. Truck options include standard 8x8 vehicles as well as 10x10s with protected cabin. Additional mission systems such as remote weapon stations can be integrated. New ANACONDA and existing BEAVER bridges of both 12 and 22 meters are fully interoperable with each other. The ANACONDA is not only a cost-efficient solution for military missions, but also for civil defense and disaster relief operations.

Speed
Swiftly Where You Need it

The wheeled ANACONDA bridge layer features high road speed and range as well as off-road capability mounted on a tactical truck.

Behind the combat zone, the ANACONDA can be used to accompany military convoys over long distances and to reinforce damaged civilian infrastructure. The bridge launching process is highly automated and takes between two and five minutes depending on the carrier platform.

Load Capacity
Medium Weight, Heavy Load

No matter which carrier platform, each ANACONDA system can lay 1x22 m or 2x12 m bridges. Both versions can be used by vehicles of MLC 80 and higher, making it fit for wheeled medium forces as well as heavy mechanized units.
